Wilmington Eye Group is your neighborhood eye doctor located at 229 Main Street. Your Wilmington eyecare center offers genuine eye care where your eye health and wellness is our primary focus. Annual eye exams are a recommended cornerstone for ensuring the health of your eyes. In addition to checking for changes in your vision and updating your prescription, we will also look at your overall eye health, internally and externally. Prevention and early detection are keys to maintaining healthy eyes, as some eye health issues have no immediate symptoms but can still cause damage if left untreated. That’s why regular check-ups are critical.

  • Dr. Alex Russakovsky

    After graduating from college, working in both academia and pharma Dr. Alex went on to Optometry school in Boston. After graduating in 2007 he started at this very location the same summer and has worked there ever since having built relationships with his patients over that time. Offering a more holistic approach to eye care.

  • Dr. Cindy Russo

    Dr. Cindy Leigh Russo graduated summa cum laude from Suffolk University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology. She also earned a Master of Arts in Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine prior to completing her doctoral studies at New England College of Optometry (NECO) in 2010. Upon graduation, Dr. Russo completed a year-long residency in primary eye care and geriatric optometry, with an emphasis on ocular disease, glaucoma and retinal pathology.

  • Dr. Tamara Granner

    Dr. Granner grew up in Montreal, Canada, and completed her BSc and MSc at McGill University, where her research focused on retinal pathologies such as Age Related Macular Degeneration. She then moved to Boston to complete her doctorate in optometry at the New England College of Optometry. After graduating optometry school, Dr. Granner worked in refractive surgery before joining the team at Pearle Vision, where she focuses on community health, contact lenses, and dry eye disease.

  • Dr. Van Nguyen

    Dr. Nguyen is a board-certified optometrist who earned her Doctorate of Optometry from New England College of Optometry. Originally from Texas, she earned a Biology degree with a minor in Chemistry from University of North Texas and served six years in the Texas Army National Guard before optometry school. She completed clinical training in private practices, the Bedford VA Hospital, and community health centers throughout Boston, where she developed special interests in managing ocular disease.
